Tech was very courteous and seemed to know what he was doing. In the end we purchased a whole new unit. However, when we received our bill, we noticed a $20. “fleet charge fee” that wasn’t mentioned by the company. In fact, the reason that we used them was because it mentioned on their website there was no charge for them to come out.

I added installation to my door, which intern made it heavier in the spring couldn’t really lift it like it should precision had a technician come out and install a second spring which solved that problem. Unfortunately, it lifted it too much and as soon as you released at the door would come up 6-8 inches second technician put a stiffener rail on it which added weight but seemed to balance it out, so I think we’re going in the right direction on this repair. Everyone is super nice and the price is about the same as everybody else if I was to choose, I’d take precision to their years of experience and service call price. Ask for Drew he’s bery nice and straightforward.

The technician who replaced my torsion springs was very professional, pleasant, and competent. My only complaint was the price I payed was about $300-400 too much. Over $1000 for two new torsion springs on a double car garage with a single door is pretty outrageous.

Pro. * Drew was very professional and respectful. * He took time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand. * The quality of service itself was 5 star * Military Discount Cons. * The pricing was extremely high. * I chose the 8-10 year springs (Dura-Lift), which retail at Home Depot for about $113 for two. * Precision charged $396 per spring, which does include labor- but that breaks down to roughly $340 in labor per spring, which feels excessive and that didn’t include the $79 military discount that was provided. So in reality it would have been more. Overall: Great technician and excellent service, but the cost significantly outweighs the value compared to the retail. I recommend asking detailed pricing questions upfront.

My garage door went out on Sunday morning. I was happy to get a tech out from Precision to look at it. Although I thought it to be an easy fix, it was not. In the end a new motor was needed. My service rep was respectful and knowledgeable. I thought in the end that the price was on the high side, after research, but I did not want to have to call in a bunch of quotes.
