Chad was the technician that came out to solve an issue with a friend’s garage door. The motor was receiving an error message that pointed to a decaying grommet. The decayed grommet caused the door not to respond to the wall control button. The missing parts of the decayed grommet caused the chain to sag. Additionally, the door was very difficult to lift when the chain was disengaged. The bar containing the lifting cables was bent, rusted and of poor quality. Chad repaired and replaced the rail; lift arm, and added a torsion spring system that properly supports the door’s weight and provides a smoother, quieter lift. Chad was excellent!

I contacted Precision Garage Door Service of Jacksonville on a Monday morning after one of my door springs broke over that weekend and they had a tech here within a couple hours. The tech, Chad, was very professional and friendly, inspected the door and accessories, reviewed the parts of concern, then explained what needed to be fixed. Chad reviewed different pricing cost with me based on the warranty of the parts, then we came to an agreement of what I needed to take care of now. The whole process took place in a couple hours, then he went over everything he did pointing to the parts changed out and he also went over some maintenance I should do on a regular basis to keep the hinges and rollers in top shape. A BIG MAHALO to the Precision Team for making what I thought was going to be a costly and stressful event to me being able to move on with my day/week and a smile on my face.
