Our garage door wasn’t responding correctly when using the remote from the car nor from our unit in the garage late in the afternoon, after hours. I read reviews online for multiple companies and decided to use Precision based on the many positive comments. Even though they were closed I received a response almost immediately informing me a technician would be at the house by 8pm. Colton arrived less than an hour after I left my message. My husband and I were impressed by the timely response and arrival of Colton. He is a very knowledgeable and professional technician who explained everything he was changing/updating in a manner I was able to understand. The Genie Safety Eyes needed to be replaced. I was also pleased by the cost, I was expecting a much higher bill. I would highly recommend Precision for all your garage door needs. Great business with great employees!

My 10 year old garage door opener crapped out at 6:30 PM on Monday night. I called Precision Garage Doors and spoke to the after hours gal, who booked an appt for us at 10 AM this morning. Connor called at 9:30 AM to let me know he was in the way and would arrive as scheduled. He took his time to explain what was the problem, and that we were likely looking at a new system. He had all the necessary parts in his truck for 2 systems, and when presented with the options , we chose a newer more powerful motor which came with a lifetime warranty. Connor was very knowledgeable and friendly, the prices, while more than I wanted to spend seems fair. I would highly recommend Precision Garage Doors for your needs!

My technicians showed up early for the appointment. They performed a thorough inspection of my garage doors. They provided a detailed estimate of the work they recommended. They performed the work professionally and quickly. Upon completion, I noticed a weather strip head been damaged. They replaced both sides of the trim and painted them with my paint. Their technicians are friendly, professional, and punctual. I really appreciate the text reminders and the photo of the technician sent ahead of scheduled appointments. This time, my garage door had been painted shut, and when I tried to open it after returning home, an internal component broke. Thankfully, Precision Garage responded quickly—even in the middle of a storm—and had my door fixed in no time. On both visits, the technicians took the time to lubricate the door as a courtesy and shared helpful advice on upkeep and maintenance to extend the life of my garage door and opener. Ron seemed to think of everything lubricating and providing a plan in case the paint on the inside of the rubber seal decided to stick again. Chad was the technician that came out to solve an issue with a friend’s garage door. The motor was receiving an error message that pointed to a decaying grommet. The decayed grommet caused the door not to respond to the wall control button. The missing parts of the decayed grommet caused the chain to sag. Additionally, the door was very difficult to lift when the chain was disengaged. The bar containing the lifting cables was bent, rusted and of poor quality. Chad repaired and replaced the rail; lift arm, and added a torsion spring system that properly supports the door’s weight and provides a smoother, quieter lift. Chad was excellent!
