When I went out to leave this morning, my garage door would not open and I realize that the spring was broken. I called about 10 AM and they were helpful and professional. Someone to my house by 12 but shortly after that. Chad called and said that he was in the area and came out immediately. He fixed our garage door and was great to deal with.

Our garage door was getting stuck half way down when closing even when the motor was disengaged it would not close. Called Precision as they were willing to come the same day. HASSLES OVER WARRANTY. The motor unit failed while door was opening. Spoke to their warranty dept, ensured it was under warranty ("yes, it's the whole unit attached to the ceiling we'll replace" - her words.) tech comes out next day and plays semantics about motor, motorhead, etc. Make calls, comes back, makes more calls. Even though they know what equipment I have and what the problem was, didn't have proper parts to do fix. Not happy. Maybe they should take part of their advertising budget and fund their warranty obligations, and they won't have to nickel and dime customers so much.
