Tim Van Vuren was an excellent technician and I have no complaints of his service, performance or professionalism. He arrived on time, was very polite and attentive to my questions. I scheduled Precision to repair my 4 year old steel shed’s detached 16x8 garage door which suffered damage from tension resets due to power outages. The repair was superb and my detached garage door, which was chain operated worked better then new. it was so much quieter when Tim finished the job. The cost of that job was very reasonable, so I asked him to take a look at my noisy attached 16 year old home garage door which had never been serviced. He provided reasonable recommendations which included a new life master belt driven motor and other mechanical replacement parts which turned my garage into a like new extremely quiet system. Tim had everything he needed for the repairs on his truck. I didn’t need to reschedule for the home garage repair. Everything was done that one visit and both jobs took only about 2.5 hours. I am very pleased with the work and cost of the upgrades. I highly recommend Tim & Precision Garage Doors of Jacksonville!

Tim Van Vuren arrived at my home in less than an hour after I called. Precision was recommended by my neighbor. My garage door was partly closed and had completely stopped after several days of problems. Tim was all the things a company cooked want from an employer. He carefully analyzed my problems and explained to me what he was seeing. He saw that my door was installed almost 30 years ago. The motor had to be replaced, we decided to replace major parts to give us a new unit. We only kept the door itself. Tim worked until it was working perfectly and even pushed out a car that wouldn't start. Every company would like to be represented by employees like Tim.

They charged about market price ($195) and the inspection report, lubing, and shaving a little of my wood panel was appreciated. They quoted me for entire home system repair. Had a broken spring on Sunday and used the chat feature on their website to schedule an appointment. They were able to come first thing Monday morning, Tim called 30 min before to tell me he was on his way. He inspected the spring and recommended upgrading the springs and the other 5 components of the garage door, he gave me prices to just fix the spring and the total upgrade and explained why it would be best to upgrade. Amazing the difference in the garage door. I am very cautious when dealing with repair companies, but Tim did a great job in explaining the needed repairs. Great Job!
