Following an assessment of our failing garage door opener, Frank (Precision Tech) provided us with a number of product and cost options to fix the problem. We selected a belt-driven opener and Frank had it installed in less than an hour. He reviewed the new opener features with us and answered all our questions. We are very pleased with our selection of Precision and would highly recommend them to others requiring garage door service. Job well done!

Positives: Very professional organization from top to bottom. The girl who took the initial call got a guy out the same day; he, in turn, showed up promptly and worked quickly, efficiently, and cleanly. They were both courteous and knowledgeable. That doesn't happen by accident, especially these days. The new opener is quiet and better than the one I had. Negatives: I have an issue with the new keypad. It is a downgrade from what I had. It doesn't allow guest codes, and it also needs a code to close the door from outside. I would have liked to have known beforehand if a better keypad was available, I'd have paid for it. We go in and out of our garage door a lot - it is our main point of ingress and egress - and don't normally used the car remote. So keying in code to close the door every time is tedious, and changing the code every time we want to let a guest in is not good either. I made this known to customer service, the technician contacted me and said he would look into options and then never called me back. One star ding for that. Overall very positive, but the issues I mentioned will be an every day reminder that they didn't follow through.

We bought a new home with a 2 car garage and a garage door opener. I've never had an automatic door opener so didn't know what to do when it wouldn't close the door. I found the manual the previous home owner left but couldn't determine the issue so discovered how to manually close it. Phew. I found Precision through Google, called them and they came out the next day. My Tech, Frank, was easy to work with and a wealth of information. Through all my newbie questions he remained professional and never made me feel dumb for asking them. His years of experience were evident. He gave me maintenance tips to prolong the life of my opener and door, told me what to for if the opener started acting up again and left me with a feeling that I called the right company for the job. A big THUMBS UP for Frank and Precision. Precision has gained a life long customer.

Precision installed a new opener a little over a year ago. Recently it started opening and closing on its own. We called yesterday and Frank came out and as I was explaining what was going on, the door opened and closed again on it's own. He reprogrammed the unit and the remotes, hopefully this will cure the issue. Frank was the Technician who installed the unit, so I was pleased he came out again to troubleshoot the issue.

He explained the repair that was required and the approximate time needed to accomplish the repair.
