Several years ago (over 5) I had Precision replace my entire Garage door, rails, sensors and motor. They did excellent work and this was the first problem I have had. Stuff happens and mechanical systems fail. I called, they booked quickly after a few diagnostic questions. Less than 24 hours later, Dalton was on site to address the problem. They try to give same day service but I called after 4 and told them it was not an emergency. It just quit working. It was not a house electrical problem. He has excellent product knowledge, quickly diagnosed the problem (Faulty wall switch), gave me an initial cost estimate, and had the system up and running within the cost he quoted. Checked and lubed the mechanical parts and fully functionally tested the rest of the system (remote transmitters etc). Professional in every way. Easy to book, on time, good communication prior to arrival, parts on the service vehicle and a quick repair at a reasonable price. What more could you ask for. The same as my first experience with Precision several years ago.

Precision Garage Doors was selected over other companies because I had used them previously and because of their ad in Money Magazine and reviews listed. Chad was prompt, courteous and professional. He explained why the garage door opener needed to be replaced if I wanted to use a remote opener. He offered me two options and explained the warranty on both. He also explained maintenance and what should be replaced later. This company has competitive prices and their service cannot be beat. .

We had noticed that our garage control box was failing, from time to time, to open the garage door. (The wireless controller in the car was always working.) 1. We called, and the technician came out. He seemed to do a good overall review. He found a poorly connected wire attached to the back of motor assemble. Unfortunately, he never saw a real failure while he was here. But, it looked like maybe he had fixed it. 2. Within a very few days, we had some more of the same failures (although they were not quite as often as before). 3. So, we called again, and he came out. He had concluded that the problem was in the motor assembly itself, and he said that the only solution was to replace it with a new motor system. So, we had him do that. So far, we have had no more problems since he installed the new assembly. We do also note that the overall noise does seem to be a bit less noisy.

Service was excellent. Your technician has done some previous garage work for us. Therefore, he was very familiar with the history of our garage, so he was able to pinpoint our need. It says a lot for a company to send out a technician that we had worked with before and developed a client trust.

The Precision Overhead Door Tech arrived earlier than expected which worked out great. He worked hard to resolve all of my garage door issues, and he kept me informed through out the repair process. He was very knowledgeable about all the parts of a garage door and its components. The tech was polite and professional through out the service call. I would recommend this company to anyone who’s having issues with your garage door.
