Needed to replace a lifetime warranty motor of LiftMaster. The company charges no tax under the Florida law. They’re allowed to do that if they’re replacing something under warranty. However, if it’s under lifetime warranty, they should give consumer some credit back. Nevertheless, they charge me $2000 for replacing a LiftMaster motor with one and a half genie horsepower along with the belt. I found out later they should be a reasonable cost of about thousand dollars no more. The company is making over 100 percent profit over every job without paying any sales tax as they are covering everything under a lifetime warranty which majority of the motor companies are giving. The person doing the job is professional however, the company is rip off

Five stars go to Cameron in the Nocatee, Ponte Vedra area! I used Precision at my old home in Sarasota and were happy to find them here as well. Cameron was sent out to provide an evaluation of my current system and a quote on any work suggested. He was on time and very professional. He listened to my concerns and reasons for my call into Precision, esp since nothing was “broken” or not working. I recently purchased my new home and because I was a customer in Sarasota, I automatically called them to offer me solutions to my poor, rickety, too-small-of-a-motor garage door opener. After inspection I needed a heavy duty motor, belt system and new cables, bearings, etc. He presented all my options which left room for monetary decisions and was ready and able to complete the job right away. He did a fantastic job; he was courteous, professional, clean, careful and conscientious. He cares about the work he does and it showed. He walked me through everything he did when finished, explained the system, ran multiple tests, programmed all clickers, key pad and car. Explained the warranties, yearly maintenance suggestions and how to register my new system. Request Cameron if you can, you will not be disappointed!

This is our 2nd time having our spring replaced by Precision. The last time was in 2011. It gets used multiple times a day. Now 15 years later it snapped and both cars were stuck in the garage. They happened to have time slots available that same day and the gentleman came out in 30 min. It took him about an hour. He was a gentleman. Dressed in uniform, clean cut beard and was very pleasant. I really appreciated how quickly they were able to get it done.

Had a spring break, and the door was too heavy to raise and lift by hand. These guys were out at the house the very next day, and had it fixed and back to operational within the next hour or so. They also did some other maintenance on the door to keep it running. Nice, professional, and confident in their work. Highly recommend these guys.
