I had met Cameron Lewis (Service Technician) through a mutual friend and he was very polite and knowledgeable so when I needed a garage repairman I wanted him to be that guy. He was awesome ! Aside from the price being right for me, the technician, Colton Coffel, was professional and not pushy in the way he approaches me with what NEEDED to be replaced: critical (cables and drums) not so critical (rollers and touch). From there I concluded that he is honest and that I’m going to go for Precision Garage. Why? Because he did not recommend to get my 21-year old Genie motor and accessories replaced. Colton says they’re still in good working condition. (Although in my opinion I may have to get them replaced in a year or two — just so I have a more reliable garage door opener, and I’m going to hire Precision again; and I’d like Colton to do the job — as a special request. The price range quoted is between $700 to $800 out the door. Hopefully, the price won’t go higher by then.) A few years ago there are two other companies that looked at the motor and they recommended to get it replaced! This tells me they’re just trying to sell products and don’t care much about their customers. I very strongly recommend Precision Garage to anyone looking for a trustworthy garage door service company.

Technicians Dalton and Nate came by this afternoon and both were super friendly and never pushy. The entire service process was superlative; not only was a same-day appointment available, but the diagnosis and repair was completed in just an hour. I had the balance springs break that needed to be replaced. I thought I would give this place a call and get a quote for replacement. Their quote came back at 350% above a local competitors quote! A typical complete installation of all new components and hardware should run around $600-$800 for a complete replacement. So do your home work and PLEASE get other quotes from other local companies.
