Precision should be rated 5 stars. I needed a new garage door opener and wanted to replace the garage door with a hurricane rated door. After shopping at the do-it-yourself stores, I decided to call a couple of companies. Made a call one day. The Precision tech was out the next day, a Thursday, to show me pictures and give me options available. Their products were of better quality AND less expensive then the DIY stores. I was impressed and ordered my door and opener. The next Monday, my door and opener were installed. I didn't have to wait the 6 weeks that the DIY stores estimated as the time it would take for me to have them install these items. You have my recommendation.

The whole process from the beginning to the end was very professional. The technician very thoroughly went thru the system, pointing out the parts that needed replacing and did a very thorough job of replacing the parts and explaining how to operate the new system. We were very impressed.

My 2-car door was replaced by a "big-box store" when we bought the house about 11 years ago. It is a hurricane-rated door which is much heavier than the old one and the original springs were sacked! Also, some of the rollers were shot and the door had been very noisy from the day it was installed. Tommy called to see if it would be ok if he came about 40 minutes early (how often does that happen?). He was friendly, knowledgeable, respectful, and a pro in every way. He did a complete overhaul on the door (new quiet nylon rollers, cables, pulleys, springs) as well as the broken trolley on our existing opener. The work was done quickly all of the old parts went into the service truck. The door now operates more smoothly and quietly than when the door was new! I can't say enough about what a great experience this was thanks to Tommy and the folks in the office that scheduled the appointment. Did I mention that they provided same-day service? You can bet that when our old opener/motor needs to be replaced, I'll be on the phone to Precision!

I had never dealt with your company before so I did not know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. From the time I called to the time the job was completed was extremely fast and efficient. Your company also uses a very good communication process. Sean Smith, our technician, was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He explained the repair issues and what my options were. Could not be happier with the results. I called a couple of different repair companies in town, including the one that originally installed the garage door, but all I got were answering services saying they were closed on the weekends. When I called Precision, I actually talked to a girl in the office that helped me schedule an appointment. Since it was about 1:30pm on Saturday, I was not expecting service for a couple of days but was happy to hear that a tech would be at my house between 2-4pm same day. The tech Frank showed up, took a look and confirmed what I was afraid of, I needed to replace my tension springs and needed a new opener. He had all materials on his truck and swapped out everything in less than 2 hours. My garage works better than ever and is amazingly quiet. I will definitively recommend Precision to everyone. Professional, quick and competitively priced...thank you tech Frank and Precision.

The cable on my 15 year old garage door snapped Friday night as my wife and I were heading out for dinner. Needless to say that changed our plans for the evening and we therefore spent time trying to determine how bad the damage was to the door and the system in general. The next morning I begain the search for garage door repair companies and came across the website for Precision Garage Door Service. To my surprise I actually reached someone on the phone, on a Saturday morning no less, and before I knew it I had an appointment set for the same day. Midday I received a call from Chris the PGDS technician stating he would be there shortly. When Chris got to my house he quickly assessed the damage and began to clearly lay out the options I had available to me. Luckly for me I did not need a new door but the age of the rest of the system was such that replacement was the best choice for consistant operation and piece of mind. Chris began the job and was finished within three hours. Throughout the process he took time to show me the old parts and what he was replacing them with. He made sure the garage area was clean and free of loose parts. Once completed with the job Chris spent time programming the new system as well as programming our remotes and the remotes in our cars. He completed his final clean-up and we took care of the payment. Chris then supplied me with the proper paperwork for the system and email receipt for the job. He left Saturday afternoon having completed a job I thought would take all day. His professionalism and knowledge of the product was outstanding and I can honestly say I would recommend Precision Garage Door Service to anyone. Great service, great technician, great job!

We had a very good experience with your company technician. Specifically our spring broke trapping our cars in the garage. We discovered this problem at approximately 6:30 pm. I had to be in St. Augustine early the next morning. Frank was able to get to my house by 8:30 pm and replaced the spring, drum, and rollers by 10 pm. He was courteous, informative, and professional. He did not charge me extra for making a service call after routine working hours. Very grateful! PS...I already have your garage door opener.

I was pleased with the same day service, this was unexpected but much appreciated. I was apprehensive because I was unsure of how bad the damage was and what type of quote I was looking at. Sean, the technician, arrived when he said he would and professionally walked me through his analysis of the damage and estimate for repairs. Precision is up to date with current technology making paperwork painless and eco-friendly. The work was done steadily and professionally. I called Precision at 2 pm in the afternoon on a Sunday and Sean had the door fixed with a complete repair by approximately 7pm.

Our garage door became inoperative this morning. Upon returning from a doctors appointment late this Afternoon we noticed one of your trucks in our neighborhood and called the number given. I was pleasantly surprised to find that a service technician would call on me this evening. He called an hour later to tell me be was on the way. We decided on what we wanted repaired following the suggestions by our technician. Our springs, rollers, and pulleys were replaced with lifetime warranties. All was handled quickly and professionally.

Chris was extremely knowledgeable and worked well. It was extremely hot today, especially in the garage but he was very professional. The new door opener and nylon rollers are so smooth and quite. As a bit of a budget conscious DIY, Chris explained the difference between the retail rollers and professional grade. Lesson learned. The price was reasonable. I would recommend to anyone.
