Called Precision Door around 10 AM after our 15 year old Genie screw-drive garage door opener finally died making a grinding sound like a garbage disposal trying to eat silverware. Got a 2 PM appointment same day and technician Alan H. showed up promptly. Had already priced garage door openers on Lowes website so knew they'd charge around $450 with install and I'd probably be waiting several weeks. Alan offered a PDS800 belt drive unit for $438 and said it'd take about an hour to install. I immediately took him up on offer. Sure enough he was done in an hour and even helped me code the new remotes and keypad. Unit is the quietest garage door opener I've encountered (almost dangerously quiet!). Very satisfied.

I contacted Precision Door Service when my garage door came off track due to a broken cable. I received same day service within 30 minutes of my 2-hour window. The tech, Gilbert Brown was courteous and professional. He performed an inspection of the parts of my 14-year-old garage door and explained what needed to be replaced and provided repair or replacement options. I replaced the springs, rollers, cables, bearings, drums and and a worn bottom seal. After the work was completed he showed me the new parts, explained the warranty and reviewed the invoice with me. I would highly recommend Precision Door Service of Northeast FL.
