Though we waited for almost 3 months for garage door to be installed (Covid related issues) we are very satisfied with quality of service from assessment to installation. We have heard about Precision’s service quality through friends and neighbors. Technicians KB & Chad are respectful, maintained clean work area and seemed to like their work. Mr Davis (Reggie) is one the most organized technicians I have ever observed. He arrived well within the estimated appointment time frame and was neatly dressed. He quickly surveyed the situation and correctly diagnosed the problem. He presented me with several options and and I chose one. He brought his tools and parts into the garage and went to work. He never needed to go back to his truck. When he was done he explained all the options andeft the garage the way it was when he arrived. Very professional technician.

I called around 11:30, Amanda told me that Nate would be here between 12:00 and 2:00, and would call first. About 15 minutes later I got a call from Nate to tell me he was on the way. About 15 minutes after that, Nate arrived. Diagnosed my problem and gave me the estimate..He said he had the necessary parts with him and it would take 30 to 45 minutes. About 40 minutes later my repair work was completed satisfactorily and everything worked perfectly Nate was very friendly and accommodating. Good service. I certainly would use Precision Door again.

The technicians where both product knowledgeable as well as honest. They where a pleasure to do business with. No pressure selling. They replaced the garage door springs, confirmed all other mechanisms where working properly and did not need replacement. They provided options with the quality of packages to choose from. Thank you to Mike Danforth for his excellent service on my Garage Door repair. My door was 20 years old and was making a horrible screeching noise when opening and closing. Mike inspected it and explained the different options for repair. My garage door opener was also 20 years old and had already been repaired once by a different company, but was very noisy. I had Mike install a new garage door opener during the service call. It is whisper quiet! What a difference the garage door repair and new garage door opener made! I am extremely pleased! I would highly recommend your company. Also, I called at about 9:30 AM and received an noon appointment for the same day. Also, Mike explained what he replaced during the service call and showed me where to lubricate the hinges once a year.

Tim Van Vuren was an excellent technician and I have no complaints of his service, performance or professionalism. He arrived on time, was very polite and attentive to my questions. I scheduled Precision to repair my 4 year old steel shed’s detached 16x8 garage door which suffered damage from tension resets due to power outages. The repair was superb and my detached garage door, which was chain operated worked better then new. it was so much quieter when Tim finished the job. The cost of that job was very reasonable, so I asked him to take a look at my noisy attached 16 year old home garage door which had never been serviced. He provided reasonable recommendations which included a new life master belt driven motor and other mechanical replacement parts which turned my garage into a like new extremely quiet system. Tim had everything he needed for the repairs on his truck. I didn’t need to reschedule for the home garage repair. Everything was done that one visit and both jobs took only about 2.5 hours. I am very pleased with the work and cost of the upgrades. I highly recommend Tim & Precision Garage Doors of Jacksonville!
