I chose Precision Garage Door because industry experts told me that they were the best in the Jacksonville area. They helped me install custom wood garage doors, the latest LiftMaster opener technology. They then came back immediately to help when we had a sensor alignment issue (likely from contractor traffic) and also helped get the openers connected to MyQ so I could monitor, open and close my doors from anywhere in the world. Percision Door is who I call now for garage door installation or service. We purchased a new Genie garage door opener in 2023 to replaced our old unit. Wow…the new Genie garage door opener was so smooth and quiet! We like the WiFi feature the most of our new unit. You can open the door for anyone while away from your home. I’ve opened the door for FedEx to drop off large boxes in the garage while raining. Percision Door just completed a service call today to inspect and repair our system that was affected by all the power surges last week while on vacation. One call today and Percision Door arrived within a few hours to fix our system. One call and our garage door was smooth and quiet again. He also informed me about my rollers on the garage door, which were going bad, I had the rotors repaired also and the garage door rocks like a charm. Our less-than-ten-year-old Genie garage door opener was stopping halfway up the track and moving only slightly when the button was pushed. My fiancé tried to troubleshoot it himself to no avail. I found Precision Garage Door Service based on their Google reviews. When I called, Lakin was friendly and helpful. She even tried to get a technician out the same day! When Dalton Merritt arrived to look at the door and troubleshoot the issue, he explained that we were lucky to have gotten the service out of it that we had, as it was underpowered for our heavy garage door (builder-grade). He was friendly and professional. He told me what the options were, detailed them for me on the tablet, and even offered to talk with my fiancé if there were any questions. We opted to go all in on the repair, replacing the garage door opener, having him add additional hinges for the panels, and an upgraded spring system. Was it cheap? No. Do I feel confident that if there’s another issue I can call Precision back and they’ll come back out? Absolutely! But I also know this repair will last us for years to come. I was extremely pleased with the quick response, attention to detail, and quality of service we received from Precision and their team. I highly recommend them.

I will choose Persision doors again and give the best recomendation to my friends. Give Rialy a raise or a bonus, he deserves it.. He replaced my springs, rollers and added bracketts. He also replaced a broken and cracked brackett.

On Sunday, May 12, 2024, our garage door opener started making a loud noise. I called Precision Door Service because they had serviced our garage door about 9 years ago and done a good job. I called Precision Tuesday Morning, May 14, today, at 0800 and they scheduled a technician to arrive between 2 pm and 4 pm. The technician, Mitchell Dehler called and arrived about 15 minutes early. he immediately diagnosed the problem, and clearly explained what was needed to fix it.. Our garage door opener was over 24 years old and simply wore out and needed to be replaced. Mitchell prepared a quote, explained the work that needed to be done and I approved. Mitchell was professional in every aspect, knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. He explained the work he had done, helped program the new keypad, explained how the new garage opener switch worked, and helped set up the homelink in both our cars. He was a delight to work with and I enjoyed the opportunity to talk to him. I trusted Mitchell and that is high praise coming from me. Thank you for a great job and you are fortunate to have a technician of Mitchell's caliber on your team.

Precision's two-man crew arrived exactly as scheduled, assessed the needed work on a 20+ year old garage door opener and parts, spent two hours making the selected upgraded/repairs at the agreed upon cost. They ensured all the programing was in working order and removed all the scrap material from the property. Importantly, price point options on materials were discussed and selections were made prior the work starting. There were no surprise add-on charges as the job was completed.

Mitchell did our work for new springs and rollers on our garage door. He called and let me know what time he would be here. I called Precision and within 30 minutes I had a technician onsite and from the start he was very courteous and professional. Within 15 minutes he inspected the damage and gave me a quote which I thought was fair, and he started to work. Within 3 hours he had completely overhauled my entire garage door system to include new springs, rollers and bearings and the wire pulley system. My garage door operates like a brand new door. I highly recommend Precision Garage Door Service to anyone who needs their garage door repaired or replaced!
