At 3:30 p.m. on a Friday, when I tried to close the garage door, it jammed. I noticed some sheet-rock from the ceiling had jammed the door track and the cables were off the spool on each side. I was leaving town the next morning so it was critical that I would be able to close the door. I called the folks who installed the door many years ago and they are apparently out of business. I called two "24 hour garage door repair" companies listed in the phone book. One laughed at me when I asked it they could come that day and then said it would be Monday before a repairman could come. The other also said it would be Monday. My girlfriend went on the Internet and found your ad and number. I called around 4 p.m. and Frank, the repairman, was on site at 5:45 p.m. He had the door fixed and operational before 7 p.m. He also removed he remaining sheet-rock in the area to prevent recurrence. While we have no idea what caused the sheet-rock to fall in that area, the door is fully operational and I could leave town knowing my house was secured. I'll deal with the ceiling when I get back home. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY and will use them for any future repairs.

Tim called ahead to confirm the appointment and was on time. He was polite, explained everything to me in advance (including cost), and was thorough. He installed a number of new parts to get the door properly balanced and functioning. He also repaired the opener itself and installed a keypad, a sensor and the automatic reverse feature. He even reinforced some structural parts for me at no extra charge. I could not be more pleased. I would highly recommend Precision Door Service to anyone -- and I recommend Tim in particular. I hope his bosses see this review.

The 24-hour phone monitoring is great. I called at 7am and Gilbert was here by 8am. He replaced our motor, drive chain, springs, bearings, etc. We have new remotes and a new keypad. The garage door now runs smoothly and is whisper quiet. Very good company to work with - very professional.

Called at 1:45 for an appointment and was promised between 2 and 4. The technician arrived at 2:15 and was done by 2:30. He was able to fix a very noisy door very quickly. Definitely RECOMMEND!????
