The day after Christmas 2023 our large garage door stopped working. It was clearly broken. I called Precision and they came out the same day. Colton Coffell was our technician. I had problems with my garage door opener for a while. Another company put in a new opener but the problems still occurred. The company was rude to me and could not help without a promise of more money up front. I saw the add for Precision in the Mint magazine. When I called I was greeted by a pleasant lady who was able to get a tech to me the same day. The young man was pleasant, timely, and precise. When I described the symptoms he knew exactly what the solution should be. He corrected the problems and made sure everything was working, including my car remote. Very pleased with the service. Colt showed up exactly to the minute. I explained exactly what happened and he examined my garage door and immediately told me the price and fixed immediately. I did tell him that I had tried to fix and he was very polite. Very Professional, started immediately and fixed quickly. Value price. My home was well built in 2012, but in 2017 I decided (after a couple of bad storms) that I wished to have a more hurricane protective garage door. After doing online searching, I chose Precision Garage Door of Jacksonville--and I have not regretted that decision. Many visitors have commented on the door's quiet operation. My garage door opener suddenly quit working. I called Precision around 1:30 PM and they said they could have someone out the same afternoon. The technician Colton arrived, evaluated the opener, and recommended I get a new opener. I am not surprised since it was over 20 years old. He had a new opener on the truck, got to work, and had everything working in a couple of hours. He was very nice and courteous. It is so nice to have a new updated opener! when ai moved into delwebb the developer contracted a garage door company for our homes. i had an emergency, they told me it would be three weeks! i assure you i will never use their contractor again. Delighted by eventual response to my call to repair a keypad issue. Colton was able to fix the problem quickly and efficiently. Reason for "eventual" is that I received no response to my initial online request for an appointment thru the PD website. Apparently, there is little connection between the website and the local office which needs to be addressed. Otherwise, great service!
