June/2022, Precision Doors installed 2 new Genie motors as well as all rails, and anything else need to do a complete install. Recently, one door started a clicking, and other made a jaring sound when opening. On 10/29, I called. Next appointment available was 10/30 , would not meet my schedule, so appointment made for 10/31, between 8-12. Later received note change to 8-10. At approximately 8:00, Tim the technician texted, and arrived at 8:27. 5 rating for punctuality He assessed my complaint and quickly started to determine problem. Explained in detail cost and how long job would take. 5 rating for professional Explanation Did not waste time and I was extremely satisfied. 5 rating for Satisfaction. If I owned a company, I would hire him. Precision Doors is fortunate to have a TOTALLY CUSTOMER FOCUSED employee. Thank you Walter 10/31/2024

A family member had experience with Precision Door and recommended that I contact the company when I started having problems with my garage door. The technician arrived on time after giving me an “on-the-way” phone call. He let me explain my issues and we discussed different options without pressuring me toward a pre-determined one, giving me pros and cons for each one. Once I had made a decision, he got right to work and completed the job in the timeframe he had indicated. He demonstrated features of the opener and programmed the Home Link connection in my car. He was entirely courteous throughout the transaction and removed all construction and replaced materials. He left the work site in the same condition as when he arrived.

The service man was very polite and concise. I just felt that at every turn, there was an attempt to “oversell” your services at An extremely high cost. I did feel he was doing his job. But your costs are too high and I would probably look elsewhere in the future.

I contacted Precision because my doors sensors were not working. I was shocked (and still am) that my 29 year old door had issues. It was actually the motor, not the sensors which made me feel better because I could not get the beam to work, turns out it wasn't me. Walter arrived, identified the problem, presented my options and installed a new motor and railing with belt drive. The unit is actually made in this millenium! He also identified and replaced two hinges that were failing and made needed adjustments. I wasn't thrilled with what I had to spend but am thrilled to know I have a door and opener that should last a while, maybe not 29 years but I'm pretty sure that will be someone else's issue. Thank you Walter!

Precision installed my garage door and opener about 10 years ago. When I went to change the battery (for the first time in those 10 years!) the pole of the 9 volt battery had corroded and stuck, so I had to have a new keypad ( that uses AA, so I won't have the sticking problem again). Making an appointment was fast and easy. Riley came the next day, called before he came, and was fast, courteous and efficient. He inspected the opener and lubricated the door track for me. Even after 10 years, my garage door is ridiculously quiet and works perfectly. When that changes, I will definitely be calling Precision for replacement.
