Precision Door was awesome from start to finish. Called them when my garage door wouldn't close. They couldn't get a tech out that night but put me on the schedule first thing in the morning. Tech called me when he was on his way. Wes was my tech and he explained what was wrong with the garage and what my options were for repair with and without warranty. We had a problem with the wiring being cut on our door opener, and the door was also somewhat out of adjustment. We found Precision Door by calling the service number for our Linear garage door opener. They referred us to you. We called Precision at 3 PM on a Friday. Your scheduler set up an appointment from 4 to 6 PM, same day. The service person arrived at 4 PM promptly, and all issues were resolved effectively and efficiently by 4:30 PM. Couldn't ask for any better service than that. Should we need help in the future with the door, you can bet we will call Precision to help us out.

FRANK AFTER CALLING AHEAD WITH AN ARRIVAL HEADS-UP, SHOWED UP A LITTLE EARLY WHICH WAS NICE. HE DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM QUICKLY, MADE A COUPLE OF POWER ADJUSTMENTS, AND IT WAS FIXED. WE DISCUSSED THAT IT MAY BE POSSIBLE THAT THE WALL UNIT MIGHT BE CAUSING SOME OF THE SAME PROBLEMS IN THE FUTURE. WE COULDN'T REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM AS THE HOMEOWNER HAD DONE EARLIER. Following an assessment of our failing garage door opener, Frank (Precision Tech) provided us with a number of product and cost options to fix the problem. We selected a belt-driven opener and Frank had it installed in less than an hour. He reviewed the new opener features with us and answered all our questions. We are very pleased with our selection of Precision and would highly recommend them to others requiring garage door service. Job well done!

Positives: Very professional organization from top to bottom. The girl who took the initial call got a guy out the same day; he, in turn, showed up promptly and worked quickly, efficiently, and cleanly. They were both courteous and knowledgeable. That doesn't happen by accident, especially these days. The new opener is quiet and better than the one I had. Negatives: I have an issue with the new keypad. It is a downgrade from what I had. It doesn't allow guest codes, and it also needs a code to close the door from outside. I would have liked to have known beforehand if a better keypad was available, I'd have paid for it. We go in and out of our garage door a lot - it is our main point of ingress and egress - and don't normally used the car remote. So keying in code to close the door every time is tedious, and changing the code every time we want to let a guest in is not good either. I made this known to customer service, the technician contacted me and said he would look into options and then never called me back. One star ding for that. Overall very positive, but the issues I mentioned will be an every day reminder that they didn't follow through.

My garage door spring popped this morning and since I have used Precision in the past, I gave them a call again. They were able to send a technician out within a few hours. George was a few minutes ahead of our window which was perfect. He informed us that the torquemaster spring system was builder grade and does not last as long as the torsion spring system. Because he has seen them last as long as 8 years, he gave us the option of the maintenance or converting. He also let us know that if we chose the maintenance it would be money well spent because the difference in replacing later vs. now was a minimal difference.
