Positives: Very professional organization from top to bottom. The girl who took the initial call got a guy out the same day; he, in turn, showed up promptly and worked quickly, efficiently, and cleanly. They were both courteous and knowledgeable. That doesn't happen by accident, especially these days. The new opener is quiet and better than the one I had. Negatives: I have an issue with the new keypad. It is a downgrade from what I had. It doesn't allow guest codes, and it also needs a code to close the door from outside. I would have liked to have known beforehand if a better keypad was available, I'd have paid for it. We go in and out of our garage door a lot - it is our main point of ingress and egress - and don't normally used the car remote. So keying in code to close the door every time is tedious, and changing the code every time we want to let a guest in is not good either. I made this known to customer service, the technician contacted me and said he would look into options and then never called me back. One star ding for that. Overall very positive, but the issues I mentioned will be an every day reminder that they didn't follow through.

My garage door spring popped this morning and since I have used Precision in the past, I gave them a call again. They were able to send a technician out within a few hours. Tim was our technician and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to do the repair in about an hour or so and did a great job. George was a few minutes ahead of our window which was perfect. He informed us that the torquemaster spring system was builder grade and does not last as long as the torsion spring system. Because he has seen them last as long as 8 years, he gave us the option of the maintenance or converting. He also let us know that if we chose the maintenance it would be money well spent because the difference in replacing later vs. now was a minimal difference.

We have been using Precision for over 5 years for our garage doors. This was the third or fourth time they have been out and every time the technician is prompt, courteous and professional. They get the job done quickly and are reasonably priced. There is no reason to go anywhere else!

This is the second time that I have used Percision and I've been very pleased both times. On todays call I was pleased that I was able to get a same day appointment. In fact Mike Danforth was an hour earlier that the specified time of between 2:00 and 4:00. He worked fast and efficient and I was very please with the cost. I called this morning and was able to get a same day appointment. Austin, the technician was amazing! He notified me he was able to come earlier than the original appointment. Explained everything, performed a thorough inspection, and had a new keypad with working remotes completed in about 10 minutes! Called Precision for an appointment and received requested response. Very courteous treatment. Next day Technician Alan Harp called 1/2 hour prior to appt. time and was at our home by 8:30. Analyzed the problem, explained all aspects of situation and gave recommendation and itemized Estimate. We took his expert advice and not only replaced the broken springs but replaced and upgraded our door opener! Alan's proficiency was amazing. This is the second time I've used Precision Door Service. Very professional and responsive. Called on Tuesday and Jeff came out on Wednesday to check an opener that wasn't working. The old unit couldn't be fixed (an apparent power surge from a lightening storm) so Jeff installed a new opener with sensors, keypad, wall switch and remotes. The new opener is much more quiet than the old. I'm very pleased and would highly recommend Precision.
