My garage door was installed approximately 20 years ago. One of the springs broke and the door could not be opened. I called Precision Door Service at 2 PM on Tuesday and 2 technicians arrived at 8 AM on Wednesday. In addition to repairing the broken spring, I was given advice regarding preventative maintenance on other components that were nearing their useful life (rollers, bearings and lift motor). I was able to make an informed decision regarding addressing these items now rather than later. All the parts necessary to do the additional work was in their truck, so an additional service call was not necessary. Both technicians were courteous, professional and left the work area clean when they were done. In addition, Precision Door Service provides a Military and 1st Responder discount.

Our 18 year old garage door opener died on us, and we called Precision after 5:00 p.m. on Monday. They arranged for a technician to come out between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 on Tuesday! And at 8:00 Kaleb came out to assess the situation. It was clearly time to replace the unit and he did a fantastic job. Very professional, thorough, efficient, and he explained step-by-step the operation of the new unit. They have my highest recommendation for garage door service and I asked him to kindly leave their contact information so if I ever need service again, for sure I'll go with Precision!

Hayden came out yesterday (03/29/2024) to do routine maintenance on our door and to assess the trim on the outside. He was friendly and efficient and completed his work in a timely manner. He made recommendations regarding the replacement trim and the upkeep on the door itself. He sent us an email detailing everything that he went over with us. He did a great job! I was heading into work on a Friday morning, only to learn that the garage door broke halfway down its track. With the weekend, I was worried that no one would be able to fix the door for several days and that the garage door would be stuck in that position.. Our garage door spring broke Thursday evening. I immediately called and was able to schedule the repair for 8AM Friday morning. The technician was right on time. The team was knowledgeable and efficient. They even saved my old unit in case I could resell parts/the unit. I heard a beeping the day after and thought it was a malfunction in the new unit. Turns out, my old unit’s battery was beeping after being disconnected. They came out and checked everything out anyway at no extra charge.

Yesterday, I came home, shut my garage door, walked away, and heard a crashing sound. Came back out to see I know had 3 springs instead of 2. To top it off, I couldn't figure out how to open my door even after releasing the safety catch (though it was a great excuse to miss work this morning). I called a few places but Precision said they could have someone out in the morning between 10-12 so I went with them, at least to get a quote and worst case get my door open so I could get my car. They did give me a range over the phone but said the cost of the spring really depends on the door. Easy. I got a call this morning from Chad at 9, asking if he could come early. He showed up about 20 min later, gave me a quick estimate around $200 per (expected since my door is a double) and gave me a run down of their packages. He was to the point, and answered all my questions regarding what the packages covered and how much individual repair items would be. I always appreciate when they don't try to salesman sell the packages and Chad did not at all. He pointed out potential risk points on my door and gave me his take. Ultimately I decided to just replace the springs alone, but if I had to call a company back out for a future repair, I'd call Precision and ask for Chad. He made quick work of the springs (less than 45 minutes), made sure to explain why they looked different but still covered the same weight range, and took the time to readjust my door so the positioning was correct. Overall, a pleasant experience working with Precision.
