Alan serviced our garage door today when it would go down halfway , then back up again. He changed out the spring system, torsion bar, bearings, and rollers quickly and efficiently. He was very personable, arrived 1 1/2 hours after I called for service, and explained everything to us. We even sat and watched him replace everything! Now, our garage door purrs like a kitten. I saw the adds on TV and also found some coupons in Mint magazine so I thought I would give Precision a call and I am glad that I did. They came same day, where actually able to come a little earlier than scheduled. The service person was very pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable. So the reason for my 2 star rating is because I was in a desperate need. I needed a hinge replaced. When I inquired the receptionist said it would be $25 for a hinge and my service call would be waived if service was done. I removed the old hinge myself but couldn’t put a new one on. So when the young man got here he assed the situation and said I needed a whole new door. WHAT!!! I explained my job situation due to the COVID19 and I just needed to get buy for right now. No money for a whole new door. He said no way to put on new hinge. I asked if he could just put on the old hinge he said NO. I needed a hero right then. Not a $1000 bill. I called a friend who was able to send someone to fix the situation. Lubricate it and align it. All for a couple dollars. It’s as good as new. I will never refer or suggest Pricision. So sad in a time of need.

Excellent service! Overhead springs broke, door would not open. Called Precision, they were here, less than 30 minutes. My 20 year old system was on it's last leg. The technicians replaced the entire system, including the motor, track and controller. Now, everything works great. I highly recommend Precision Garage Door Service.
